Oh geez, is this newborn baby girl adorable or what?  She had the cutest expressions with her rumpled up forehead and she let me know she was not a huge fan of having her feet tucked, but we still conquered the shots!   I photographed her cousin about a year ago, and the good baby gene must run in the family.  She came to see me at a perfect time too, because I received lots of new prop goodies the…

Seriously, how cute can this 6 day old newborn be?  He has the perfect amount of plumpness, back rolls and chubs in the cheeks.  He was a very sleepy baby so was very easy to pose and have some fun with.  Oh, and don't get me started on the hair!  It just laid perfectly and his coloring is just gorgeous.  His mama received a session as a baby gift from her family and she was so delighted with the photos. …

Gorgeous Identical Twin Newborn Girls

Oh lordy, are these sweet little identical twin newborn girls so cute or what?  They came to see me when they were fourteen days old and they did just perfect for all the posing!  The smaller of the two was a little more vocal with her grunts but it's as if she was just talking in her sleep.  She knew I was there but didn't seem to mind.  I think I had to ask a bazillion times who was who,…

Okay, I made this via a tutorial from a fabulous photographer, you can find her and the tutorial here .  She is such an inspiration to me and I love all of her work.  Couldn't help making a little basket stuffer as well.  And then I thought okay, I may as well make the floor too.  I opted for the 4-foot length as I have way too much stuff around here and it is taking over!  For the background, I…

Well, for those of you who know me well, know that babies two weeks and older can be a little tricky with newborn photos.  Not impossible...but tricky!  They usually just need a little more snuggles and top-offs than say a 5-day-old baby.  And as you know I love to snuggle them so it can actually be in my favor.  So this little guy comes to me at 21-days-old...remember tricky but not impossible.  Oh my goodness, did I have it all…

Oh, this is a sweet little miss!  I love everything about her, from her name to her itty-bitty-ness.  She is so tiny and was a perfect little lady the entire session.  She didn't even make a mess...which most newborns do.  So yeah, for easy clean up!  I couldn't resist this color combo.  Something so great about gray and pink.  Maybe because I have boys and lots of boy colors around here I am loving all the color!  The textures are…

Oh my goodness!  Nothing but squishy and sweet here!  Mr. Hayes was born into one of the best families ever, he so lucky!  If I could, I just might move in with this family.  This little guy has two big sisters that love him so.  He looks a lot like his sister did at her newborn photo session.  It is amazing that all three of these kids are really good!  I mean really good.  What's even more amazing is that…

Easy way to make a newborn princess pea setup for newborn photography

If there ever is such a thing as a perfect baby, it is certainly this little one.  She was so easy to pose and slept right through the entire photo session.  She was such a little thing, probably the smallest newborn I have ever photographed.  Great things do come in small packages!  Thank you Laura for introducing me to your sweet little one and love that you requested The Newborn Princess Pea setup.
